Board of Directors
Madison House, as an independent non-profit, has a governing Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is responsible for determining Madison House's mission and purpose, hiring the Executive Director, developing long-range planning, and ensuring financial stability. The Board of Directors at Madison House is comprised of 8 students (5 Program Directors, 1 student with U.Va. Student Council experience, 1 graduate student, and 1 at-large student position), 7 representatives from the University and 7 representatives from the Community and the Executive Director of Madison House. The Board meets each month during the academic year on the fourth Tuesday at 4:30pm in the Team Room, located in the basement of Madison House. Board meetings are open to students. The board accomplishes much of its work through committees. For information on how to join the Madison House Board of Directors, please contact Macy Lenox.
