Volunteer Spotlight: Max Madani
“C4K fosters a feeling of camaraderie between all the mentors and members! I love the broad range of personalities and backgrounds I encounter here, whether it be the mentors or the students. All these interesting and unique people come together in this maker space to encourage learning and nurture an appreciation of STEAM fields.” – Max Madani, C4K Mentor & Intern
We met Max Madani in Spring 2018 when he was appointed as C4K’s Madison House volunteer coordinator. Max is a student at UVA, and through his work with Madison House, Max helps UVA students with an interest in positive youth development train and become C4K mentors. He is a fantastic link between C4K’s talented youth members and the generous UVA students who want to give back by volunteering. Max always goes the extra mile and builds genuine relationships. We loved working with Max so much that we asked him to become a C4K mentor himself. Max has been a part of our program as a one-to-one mentor, Clubhouse mentor, and recently joined our team as our Clubhouse Programming Intern! We’re so glad that you’re a part of our family, Max!
