GivePulse
Madison House uses GivePulse as a tool for documenting volunteer hours and collecting valuable program data.
Volunteer registration
GivePulse is not a recruitment tool for Madison House, but rather for recordkeeping and communications. We encourage Program Directors to run through GivePulse with their volunteers to claim their accounts and see their hours as they come in, but recording impacts will ultimately be the responsibility of program directors. This second video demonstrates how to add volunteers to your roster.

Reporting impacts
Many Program Directors find it easier to track hours in a separate system and upload hours after the fact. You can make a copy of this google form template, or ensure that whatever method you use includes the same fields.
Your volunteers should keep up with their tracking daily as they complete service hours. At least bi-weekly, PDs should enter those hours into GivePulse. We’ve made a guide for how to do so.

This process is an attempt to simplify the recording of volunteer hours across all programs. If you have questions or feel this process does not work well with your program, please contact the Assistant Director of Student Programming, Tim Mullen, at tmullen@madisonhouse.org
