Schedule an in-person appointment
During tax season, IRS-trained volunteers may be able to assist you with preparing and e-filing your basic federal and Virginia state returns free of charge through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program if your annual household income is less than $64,000.
Cville Tax Aid Coalition member organizations use IRS-approved software to help taxpayers input and e-file basic tax returns that fall within the scope of service for our tax sites. VITA preparers are not accountants or tax professionals, and are not able to provide specific tax advice. For complex or unusual returns please consult a tax professional.
